I’ve been writing on and off for many years, but it’s only recently that I’ve become more consistent in publishing my work. How I manage to do it is still something of a mystery to me, as I balance family life, a full-time job, and a range of other commitments.

With all that said, it doesn’t dampen my drive one bit. If anything, it reminds me that even the classic writers of days gone by were often in the same position, working regular jobs, raising families, and writing in the margins of their lives with very little ‘pen and ink’ time of their own.

I like to think that, in some small way, I’m following in their footsteps, building something piece by piece, book by book… and perhaps, in time, leaving something behind that lasts.
